SpiceJet, India’s favourite airline, has operated 1,019 charter flights playing a key role all through the Covid-19 pandemic and helping Indian and foreign nationals reunite with their families. The airline has helped repatriate 1.75 lakh people so far.
SpiceJet has operated 722 charter flights repatriating more than 1.3 lakh Indians from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar. From the UAE, the airline has operated 315 charters to help more than 62,625 Indian nationals travel back home to Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat and other Indian states. The airline has operated 295 charter flights from Saudi Arabia to different parts of the country repatriating more than 51,575 Indians.
From Oman, SpiceJet has operated 74 charters brining back 12,950 passengers Indians while from Qatar the airline has operated 38 charters repatriating around 6,654.
Besides repatriating Indian nationals from the above four countries, SpiceJet has operated multiple charters to and from Kuwait, Kabul, South Korea, Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Netherlands, Lebanon, Georgia, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Maldives, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Sri Lanka.
The airline deployed its Boeing 737 aircraft for these charter flights.
SpiceJet has also operated 16 long-haul charter flights using Airbus A330-900 Neo aircraft to and from London, Amsterdam, Toronto and Rome helping more than 5,109 Indian and foreign nationals stranded for months to get back to their homes.

Since the lockdown began, SpiceJet has operated more than 8500 cargo flights carrying around 63,000 tons of vital supplies and cargo to and from Abu Dhabi, Almaty, Baghdad, Bahrain, Bangkok, Bishkek, Cambodia, Cairo, Cebu, Chad, Colombo, Dhaka, Doha, Dubai, Erbil (Iraq), Guangzhou, Ho Chi Minh, Hong Kong, Huangzhou, Incheon, Jakarta, Kabul, Kathmandu, Khartoum, Kyrgyzstan, Kuala Lumpur, Kuwait, Male, Moscow, Myanmar, Ras Al Khaimah, Shanghai, Sharjah, Singapore, Sulaymaniyah, Tashkent, Ukraine, Yekaterinburg (Russia) and a host of other countries.
