BSE StAR MF records a new milestone, processes 1.29 crore transactions in June 2021. BSE StAR MF, India’s largest and leading Mutual Funds Distributor platform, has created an all new record. In June 2021, BSE StAR MF processed 1.29 crore transactions worth Rs. 36,232 Cr, despite the devastating Covid-19 outbreak and distributors channelising their transactions through online platforms.
The former highest monthly transactions was 1.14 cr, achieved in May 2021. The platform also achieved its highest ever new SIPs of 7.83 lakh registered in a month in June’21 as compared to previous highest of 6.88 lakh in May’2021.
Overall, the platform achieved 38 % of the transaction within 3 months which is 3.54 Cr. during FY 21-22(Apr – June) as compared to 9.38 Cr. transactions during FY 20-21.
Some of the Key Highlights are:
Turnover:
• For June’21 it was Rs. 36,232 Cr. compared to Rs. 31,288 Cr. in May’21, an increase by 16 %
• For June’21 it was Rs. 36,232 Cr. compared to Rs. 22,667 Cr. in Jun’20, a significant growth of 60%
• Turnover for Q1 FY 21-22 was Rs. 1,01,418 Cr as compared to Rs. 85,420 Cr for Q1 FY 20-21, increase by 19 %
Net Equity Inflow:
• For June’21 it was Rs. 6,072 Cr compared to Rs. 5,147 Cr for May’21, an increase by 18%
• For June’21 it was Rs 6,072 Cr compared to Rs. 1,882 Cr for June’20.
• Net Equity inflow during Q1 FY 21-22 is Rs. 16,676 Cr compared to Rs. 9,181 Cr for Q1 FY 20-21 an increase of 82 %
Transactions:
• For June’21 it was 1.29 Cr an increase by 13% as compared to 1.14 Cr for May’21.
• For June’21 it was 1.29 Cr as compared to 63.15 lakh for Jun’20 an incredible growth of 104%
• Transactions during Q1 FY 21-22 was 3.54 Cr as compared to 1.86 Cr during Q1 FY 20-21, tremendous growth by 91%
SIP Book:
• StAR MF’s SIP book is 98.80 lakh as on date.
• For June’21 the platform registered 7.83 lakh new SIPs amounting to Rs. 186 Cr.
• For May’21 the platform registered 6.88 lakh new SIPs amounting to Rs. 164.47 Cr.
MFD’s:
• Distributor count has seen multi-fold increase to 70,137 (as on June 2021).
BSE StAR MF App (StAR MF Mobility) has processed over 26 lakh transactions since its launch, amounting to Rs. 13,235 Cr as on June 2021. The app was launched to help Mutual Fund Distributors register clients on real-time basis and execute paperless transactions. Because of the superior support system and distribution reach of BSE StAR MF, the platform has grown exponentially with over 70,000 registered distributors in India.
