Continuing the stellar run of IPO listings, BSE SME achieved a milestone of listing 350th company on its platform today. Shri Venkatesh Refineries Limited became the 350th company to get listed on BSE SME platform.
Sebi had come out with detailed guidelines on 18th May, 2010 for launch of SME Exchange/Platform. BSE was the first stock exchange to get the approval from SEBI and had launched its SME platform on 13th March, 2012.
Shri Venkatesh Refineries Limited came out with an initial public offering of 29,28,000 Equity Shares of Rs.10 Each (“Equity Shares”) For Cash at a Price of Rs.40 Per Equity Share (The “Offer Price”), Aggregating to Rs. 11.71 Crore. The company has successfully completed its public issue on October 01, 2021.
Shri Venkatesh Refineries Limited is Maharashtra based company whose registered office is at Jalgaon. The company engaged in the business of refining and preservation of Edible oils mainly soyabean oil and cotton seed oil. The business process involves purchase of the raw oil, then refining, packaging and selling of the edible oil. At present the Company has a refining capacity of almost 36000 tons. Apart from the refining of edible oil, company also engaged in the business of trading of edible oil mainly soyabean oil, cotton seed oil and palm oil.
Mumbai based Hem Securities Limited, was the lead manager to Shri Venkatesh Refineries Limited.
Total market capitalization of 349 companies as on October 08, 2021 is Rs. 39,262.04 crore. The 349 companies listed on BSE SME Platform have raised Rs.3,708.44 crore from the market and so far, a total of 115 companies have migrated to the main board. BSE has seen participation and listing of companies across diverse sectors on its SME platform. BSE is the market leader in this segment with a market share of a staggering 61 percent.
