Afteremerging promisingly from the pandemic-induced lockdowns, the resilient Indian economy is expected to witness a surge in jobs across sectors and states in the country. Reflecting this trend, apna.co – India’s largest jobs platform and professional network for the rising workforce – recorded 10 lakh+ job openings in Gujarat on the platform in the last three months (September- November). apna has also enabled more than 24 lakh+ interviews in the state during the same time period.
Most popular job roles in Gujarat were telecallers/BPO executives, delivery partners, sales/field work, back office, accounts/finance, computer/data entry operator, marketing, retail, office help/peon , admins etc. Maximum interviews in the state were facilitated in Ahmedabad, followed by Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot.

In the last few months apna’s female users in Gujarat applied for the role of telecallers, accountants, back office, data entry operators etc. In fact, more than 40000+ women in Ahmedabad interviewed through the platform in the last two months. At present, apna has over 2 lakh female users in Gujarat and this number will continue to grow.
