Residential demand in Ahmedabad increased 21.4% QoQ, reveals Magicbricks. In Ahmedabad, demand (searches) for residential real estate increased 21.4% QoQ, supply (listings) increased 4.7% QoQ and average property prices increased 1.26% QoQ, revealed Magicbricks PropIndex Report Q2, 2022.
Further, 3 BHK configurations dominated Ahmedabad’s residential market, accounting for 45% and 46% of the demand and supply, respectively with a decline in the demand for premium properties to 12% in Q2, 2022.
Demand for premium properties priced above INR 6,000 psf observed a decline from 21% in Q1 2022 to 12% in Q2 2022 59%, indicating the homebuyers’ preference for affordable homes.
