Ahmedabad solemnizes Azadi Ka Amrut Mohatsav 75 years of Independence at Sabarmati Ashram. This celebration is to remember unsung heros. 75 years of Independence and an event that is considered as a landmark victory of India. We invite you to come, rejoice & take pride as Ahmedabad comes alive in full glory for the “Azadi Ka Amrut Mohatsav”.
The Padyatra from Sabarmati Ashram is started. There will be 81 marches that will cover 311km to be soon joined by different groups of people on the way to Dandi.
PM Narendra modi pays tributes to Dandi Re-Run by keeping Faith in footsteps of Bapu, and addressed Salt is a symbol of Loyalty and proud . He launched nation-wide ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ to commemorate 75 years of India’s independence to start building the #AtmaNirbharBharat that our founding fathers dreamt for.
Gandhiji started the Dandi March from Sabarmati Ashram on March 12, 1930 against the Salt Laws along With This Mahotsav 81 Padyatris will start from today and all padyatris will take halt at night yatra will start from the same place on the other day.
This is Mahotsav of Atmanirbhar India and it is celebrated on behalf of gandhiji’s 91st Dandi Yatra and it will be continued till 6th April. This is a series of events to be organised by the government to immortalize the 75th Independence Anniversary of India . It is be celebrated as a Jan-Utsav and it will end till 15 August 2023.
