GESIA IT Association, the leading body representing the ICT industry of Gujarat, elects its new chairman office bearers at its annual general meeting held at Annual General Meeting held at Ahmedabad.
Tejinder Oberoi, Executive Director, Cygnet Infotech Pvt. Ltd. takes over as Chairman of the Association from Mr. Maulik Bhansali, Chief Executive Officer, NetWeb Software
On this occasion, Mr. Tejinder Oberoi, Executive Director, Cygnet Infotech said that, “I am humbled to have been elected as a Chairman & Director of GESIA IT Association. The association has achieved many milestones in the growth of the ICT industry. I look forward to enabling the Gujarat IT industry to reach the pole position nationally and internationally.”
Mr Oberoi also announced his team of Office Bearers.
Mr. Pranav Pandya, Co-founder and Chairman of Dev IT Ltd. is the new Vice Chairman, Mr. Aditya Shah, Director, AMNEX InfoTechnologies Pvt. Ltd. is the new Secretary, Mr. Umesh Rateja, Director, SUMS CorpSolutions LLP is the new Treasurer, Mr. Satyarth Srivastava, Director, Adit Microsys Pvt. Ltd. is the new Jt. Secretary
While announcing the team Mr. Oberoi said “A very enthusiastic, passionate, and able team joins me at GESIA to steer the association’s vision forward.” Mr. Oberoi also mentioned that outgoing chairman Mr. Maulik Bhansali has contributed immensely to the industry and the organization and I am sure he will continue to guide us in future.
The new Board of Directors that took office today also comes with a great combination of experience and energy representing a wide spectrum of our industry.
Pranav Pandya, Vice Chairman, further added that “In these trying times of pandemic IT enabled businesses and lifestyles to continue seamlessly. IT is definitely poised for noteworthy growth in the State of Gujarat because I am very sure that Team GESIA will be ably representing ICT ecosystem of Gujarat with strong support from Department of Science and Technology, Gujarat Informatics Limited, iNDEXTb, NASSCOM, ISODA, National and International IT Giants besides reputed Business and Commerce Associations of India and Overseas countries.”
In further continuation Aditya Shah, Hon Secretary stated that “The association will give thrust for member companies to develop innovative products, solutions and IP to be able compete nationally & globally. For the said matter GESIA will be actively roping in large SIs, OEMS and other large size ICT organisations for providing vital and necessary business growth oriented exposure to GESIA’s members.”
Later Tejinder Oberoi added that “Association realizes the need of networking and collaboration among members to grow and compete. Association also recognizes the importance of talent and is committed to work with education institutions to nurture it and to ensure opportunities for the talent exist within Gujarat IT industry. It also realizes the importance of the local IT user industry and will continue to work to bring the Gujarat IT industry closer to user industry. Association will work cordially with all eco-system partners to take the industry to next levels.
Entire new GESIA IT Association Board of Director unanimously joined Mr Tejinder Oberoi the new Chairman GESIA in thanking Government of Gujarat, Industries & Mines, Dept., DST, GIL, iNDEXTb, GIDC, GIFT, Science City, Technology Industries and Startup community of Gujarat, prestigious colleges and unit of Gujarat state, Leading IT Associations at National as well as Gujarat state level and Various Industry bodies from Gujarat for supporting the association in its endeavours and looked forward to their continuous support to the association in coming years.
The focus of GESIA during our term will be to strengthen the position of the Gujarat IT industry both nationally and internationally, and to bring the next-generation opportunities for our members and the wider community.
